Seventy artists participated in the 955,000 exhibition, amongst them artists that were already internationally acclaimed, but also artists especially from Vancouver who were not known by a broader public. Three artists had been added to the show as it had moved from Seattle to Vancouver.
Some of the artists whose names appear in the menu on the right do not appear in the list of artists that was published in the exhibition catalogue but have a catalogue page and contributed to the Vancouver show. These artists are Luis Camnitzer and Liliana Porter who are listed under N.Y. Graphic Workshop and Barry Flanagan. Terry Atkinson and Michael Baldwin who are mentioned in the list as individual artists were members of the Art & Language Press Project. Also a member of this group, Harold Hurrell showed a paper work in Vancouver, which is accredited just to him on a catalogue page showing installation shots from Seattle.
